Glenn,
THANK YOU for your reading today on John
Holland's show with Hay House Radio. My dad
died when I was almost 7. I don't have a lot of
memories of him, but I remember him coming home
late at night and waking me up to go sit on the
couch with him and watch TV so the reference of
him not being just my dad but my friend was so
true for me being that young. My mom hated that
he would drag me out of bed in the middle of the
night almost every night. I loved it of
course. I would try to stay awake waiting for
my daddy. I would link my toes together as we
sat on the couch and dad always teased me and
said I was "hugging my toes".
He's been gone just over 35 years. He died at
32 years old. I have always wondered if he was
watching over me. When you mentioned my rose
tattoo, I knew that it had to be my dad coming
through. The tattoo is on my left breast and
not a lot of people even know about it. It's
not out in the open for people to see and I got
it years ago. The red hair reference was
another key because I just dyed my hair about 3
weeks ago. It's brown with red highlights but
is more red than I had wanted.
My dad died of cirrhosis of the liver. He was
sick for a long time, but his actual death was
quick. He went to bed one night and my mom
found him dead the next morning. I always said
that a psychic would have to tell me a lot for
me to know it was real and when you said that my
dad doesn't appear old enough to be my dad -
that in combination with the rose tattoo was all
I needed. The doctors told my dad that he could
quit drinking and live but the cirrhosis of the
liver made it so he would have to eat baby food
the rest of his life or he could keep drinking
and be dead within the year. I always felt that
if he loved me enough he would have quit
drinking. Now that I'm older I understand the
disease of alcoholism and know that it wasn't as
simple of a decision as that.
As for being a comedian - others think I'm
funny, but I don't. I guess I'll keep my eyes
and ears open for opportunities. If it's meant
to be, it will be.
My son (17 almost 18) hates the fact that I make
him wear his helmet when he rides his motorcycle
(dirt bike). He always tells me that KY doesn't
have a helmet law. I tell him that I
have a helmet law. We've discussed the fact
that if he ever gets a road bike it's so
important for him to wear a helmet. I'm sure my
dad picked up on that too.
OH - my husband and daughter listened to the
replay of the show tonight with me and my
daughter confessed that she and her boyfriend
have been talking about getting married when she
turns 18 - June 2010. That would be the secret
wedding my dad referenced.

I was bawling my eyes out at some of the things
you said. That's why I wanted to write to you
and let you know how much I appreciate your

My
reading with Glenn on October 3rd, 2006 was all
that I had hoped it would be. Before the reading
I had called upon my grandmother to meet with me
at my scheduled appointment and had written out
questions that I wanted answers to. I did not
take my questions with me but simply put them
out there and asked for my highest good. I was
not surprised when Glenn described my
grandmother to me. Two other spiritual
friends/relatives also joined her to help answer
my questions. During my session with Glenn and
my spiritual friends that had crossed over I
heard so many indisputable validations that even
my rational mind could no longer doubt the
existence of life after death. It was an amazing
experience as I discovered how very blessed we
all are! Even now I continue to feel my
grandmother’s presence with me. My heart has
remained opened to receive her and all who would
lead me towards my highest good. I call upon
them daily in my prayers. Thank you Glenn. You
have opened a window to me that I hope to never
close again.
